Pralaap is a privacy-focused messaging application that provides end-to-end encrypted messaging, voice and video calling, media sharing, and related communication services.

We utilize encryption technology designed to protect user communications. We do not access or decrypt the content of your messages or calls.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you must have parental or legal guardian permission.

3. Account Registration

To use Pralaap, you must register using a valid phone number.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information.
• Maintain control of your registered phone number.
• Receive SMS or phone verification codes during registration.

You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

• Use the Services for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
• Send spam, bulk messaging, or automated messaging.
• Advertise or offer to sell goods or services without authorization.
• Sell, transfer, or share your account.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or exploit the Services.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Use the Services in a way that harms the integrity or performance of the platform.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you send through our Services.

You are solely responsible for the content you transmit.

Pralaap provides end-to-end encryption and does not access message content. However, you agree not to use the Services to infringe intellectual property rights or violate any laws.

If we receive a valid legal complaint, we may take appropriate action as required by law.

6. License to Use the App (EULA)

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pralaap for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, design, trademarks, and branding, remain our exclusive property.

You may not:

• Copy or redistribute the app.
• Modify or create derivative works.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code.
• Use our trademarks without written permission.

7. Updates

You agree that we may provide updates to improve functionality, security, or performance. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

8. Fees

Pralaap is currently provided free of charge. You are responsible for any mobile carrier data charges or taxes associated with your use of the Services.

If we introduce paid features in the future, additional terms may apply.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us for the Services.

Since Pralaap is currently free, this amount may be zero.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the application.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or create risk or legal exposure for us.

Certain provisions, including limitations of liability and intellectual property protections, will survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Haryana, India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date when changes are made.

Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
